The Manchester Historic
Association Research Center is open to the public Wednesday and Saturday,
10 a.m.-4 p.m. MHA members are admitted at no
charge. For others, there is a $6.00 fee for adults, $5.00 for seniors (62+)
and college students, and $2.00 for children 6 – 18. Admission also includes
entrance to our Millyard Museum.
For those patrons who are
unable to visit the Research Center, Manchester Historic Association staff is
able to provide a limited research service at the following rates. Of course we
are not able to guarantee that after conducting research we will be able to
answer your query but the fee still applies.
First half hour: Free,
plus cost of any copies (see below for copy prices)
Additional hours: $10/hour
for MHA members (includes up to 10 free copies)
$20/hour for non-members (includes up to 10 free
copies)
Exemptions: Questions from the media, from students working on
school projects, and questions about specific holdings in our collection (“Do
you have the XYZ Business Papers?”) are exempt from the fee.
Photocopies:
$.10 per page for members
$.25 per page for non-members
Paper-based copies of photos in our database:
$.50 each for members
$.75 for non-members
Photograph-quality digital reproductions of photos in our
database (for personal use only):
$25.00 for 8 ½” x 11” print or digital file
$35.00 for 13” x 19” print
10% discount for members
Reproductions of photos in our database to be used in
publications (permission required):
$75.00 for one-time publication
$200.00 for one-time publication on cover of book
$200.00 for non-editorial use (calendars, note cards,
posters, t-shirts, etc.)
Fees for nonprofit organizations requesting
images for publication are 50% of above.
Faxes:
$3.00 initial fee (up to 10
pages)
$.10 for each additional page
for members
$.25 for each additional page
for non-members
Postage/handling:
$1.00 for 1-10 sheets
Plus $1 for each
additional increment of 10 sheets (i.e. 11-20 sheets would be $2.00,
21-30 sheets would be $3.00,
etc.)
